The age of a brand and the barriers imposed to help protect its identity among end-users are important KPIs of any brand’s performance. The ‘Domain Analysis’ tab on Webalue.com addresses both of these performance indicators to equip its process of analysis with unmatched visibility into brands success.

Brand Age

The age of a domain name indicates the duration of the brand’s existence. It is said that the older the brand, the more reliable it gets; our system looks back into the oldest records of the websites existence to determine the duration.

Brand Protection

Booking and redirecting similar spelled or pronounced domain names showcases the comittment of the website’s management team towards protecting their Brand name. This ensures, the website captures all its intended audience and consumers not to fall prey to counterfeiting products and services. Websites that protect their brand by booking domain names with misspellings and extensions are effectively protecting their brands against counterfeits and frauds; our system recognises and acknowledges such protection activity.

For example, Google protects its identity by registering misspelling of its domain name. Try www.gogle.com (notice the missing ‘o’).
